National Caviar Day is July 18th and calls for a summer caviar hors d’oeuvre. In honor of this national holiday, pick your favorite caviar and follow along for a simple yet satisfying appetizer. Everything can be purchased in one place in our online store. For added freshness and a pop of color, consider vibrant fresh dill or sweet summer corn.

INGREDIENTS

Yield: 4 servings

PREPARATION

Step 1

Warm blinis in the toaster oven.

Step 2

Use two spoons to make a quenelle of creme fraiche on each blini.

Step 3

Twirl smoked salmon for a dimensional bite.

Step 4

Top with your favorite caviar and pair with bille-carte salmon.
