Atlantic Halibut


Browne Trading takes great pride in purchasing only the best North Atlantic Halibut, landed in the Gulf of Maine. These fish are of the highest quality and pristinely fresh, with an average weight ranging between 30 to 60 Lbs each – although we do see some come in over 100 pounds. Because of our proximity to these local landings, these fish will frequently arrive in your kitchen within 24 hours of being in the Atlantic.

The largest of the flatfish family, the halibut has both eyes on its dark green/ brown topside. The blind underside is pearly white. Thick and meaty, their flaky white fillets are excellent when baked, broiled, steamed, sauteed, or on the grill – even as kebobs. We cut whole fish here. Wild North Atlantic line hooked.
