Daurade is commonly known as the “gilt-nose” for the yellow band across its face. This small fish is a favorite in the kitchen because of the thin layer of flavorful fat under its skin that keeps it moist, rich, and sweet when cooked. Ideal for the grill, it is also excellent stuffed and baked whole, poached in wine, filleted and sautéed, or braised in stews. A true seafood classic in the kitchen.

If an order is placed after cutoff (2pm ET), your order will ship the next available shipping day. For example, orders placed after 2pm ET on Thursday will ship on the following Monday for Tuesday delivery.  Our shipping department is closed Friday-Sunday.  We do not offer Saturday or Monday delivery.
