Australian Crab Meat
Caught in the pristine waters of South East Queensland, our Australian Spanner Crabs are wild caught ethically and sustainably. Rockliff spanner crab meat is light, fresh, delicate and sweet. The delicious taste and texture of this crabmeat have quickly made it a popular choice for both chefs and consumers alike!
Once this meat is thawed you can simply steam or saute. Use in Risotto, pasta, ravioli, crab fritters, crab cakes, omelets, soups, mousse or just saute in olive oil with vegetables. Saute vegetables first on medium to high heat before adding crab meat. When flesh turns white, the crab meat is ready to be served.
Instructions for use: Thaw on the day of use. Once thawed, keep refrigerated. Freshly cooked crab meat is tastiest when eaten on the same day, but can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. You should NOT refreeze.
