Saccharina latissma or “Sugar Kelp”, has been described as having a fresh, very mild greenbean flavor. Kelp noodles can be used as an alternative to pasta for people with Celiac disease. This gluten-free vegetable noodle contains many beneficial vitamins and minerals, as well as fiber, and iodine.

 

Salad Cut

Made from fresh Alaria, or “Winged Kelp”, this kelp is comparable to Japanese Wakame.Quick and easy to use as a salad, it is also delicious in soups, appetizers, and entrees. The Kelp Salad Cut is recipe-ready.

 

 

Slaw Cut

Made from Digitata laminaria or “Horse Tail” this kelp has been described as a vibrant andcrunchy cabbage. Very versatile, it can be used as a salad, in soups, on burgers and fish, and in many other recipes. The Kelp Slaw Cut is recipe-ready.
