Saffron

A little goes a long way! These flavorful little threads of goodness are
harvested by hand from the Crocus Sativus Linnaeus, a member of the iris
family. A mere kilo of saffron is comprised of the stigmas from 170,000
flowers! Thus, it is pricier than most herbs but each strand boasts an
impressive robust essence. Use saffron in rice, rice pudding, risotto,
fish stews including Paella and Bouillabaisse, finishing sauces, breads,
cakes, and even ice cream. Available in beautiful glass jars with a cork
stopper in 10 Gram quantities.

Salt Plates

These plates are beautiful as serviceware and wonderful to work with.
Created from large flats of Himalayan Salt Crystal comprised of 18%
trace minerals. To use simply place plate in a preheated oven, allow
time for it to come to temperature (as you would a bread stone), place
fish steak or shellfish on plate, cook two minutes and flip for two,
done! Perfect! Sears in the goodness and subtly adds seasoning. Once
cool a quick rinse is all they need - but not dishwasher safe.

France, Himalayan Pink Salt hand-mined directly from the pristine
Himalayan Mountains; Cyprus Flake Salt from the Mediterranean (perfect
with fish!); traditional Fleur de Sel considered the "caviar of salts"
harvested in the Guerrande region of France; Fumee de Sel, which are
Fleur de Sel crystals delicately smoked in the staves of oak wine
barrels; and our local Maine Sea Salt, taken in pools of ocean water off
our rocky Downeast coastline. A flavorful selection of unique salts
packaged together in our custom Maine-made wood box, with drop-in lid
and beveled sides. All six come in resealable tins with clear tops so
you can see their distinct qualities. An excellent gift for any home
chef! All Salts are 2.5 ounces, except the Cyprus Flake which is 1.75
ounces.

Sel Gris

Medium coarse in texture, a higher moisture content than Fleur de Sel,
bold, mildly mineraly. Perfect for searing! 12 Ounce Tin.
